Whatever your event needs’ serious or funny, Tim Readman can deliver. He has worked extensively at conferences, fund-raisers, corporate events, weddings, private parties, folk festivals, and concerts. He is a major figure on the Canadian Celtic music scene and also plays songs in many other musical styles. He has a great sense of humour and puts it to good use in his engaging live appearances.
Tim can write material specifically for you, as he did for the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, whose VP, Marian Bantjes said, “Working with Tim was easy…..he was incredibly game to do what most mortals would be mortified at the mere thought of doing. We would hire him again.” He can deliver speeches and professional presentations or entertain you with his huge repertoire of stories, songs and jokes.
Tim has released and produced a host of recordings, and has been featured regularly on CBC and other radio stations all over North America and the UK. He has performed live throughout his career clocking an average of 120 shows per year in Canada as well as the USA, England and Scotland. Tim is currently the Artistic Director for CelticFest Vancouver, an occasional radio DJ and a writer for a number of folk music magazines including Penguin Eggs and The Rogue Folk Review.
