Ginette Genereux’s first single TOMBOY GIRL is a rockin’ country tune that will get your toes tappin’ and the dance floors hoppin’! The “rockin’ country” single was produced by award winning Canadian songwriter Ron Irving (Michael Bublé, Anne Murray, Lisa Brokop) and was recorded at Vancouver’s Palace Studios with veteran engineer Bill Buckingham behind the board.

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Ginette currently resides on the west coast, in Langley, BC. Formally trained in dance, voice, and piano, Ginette has also figure skated competitively at a national level. A Tomboy Girl at heart, she spends her down time dirt biking, wakeboarding, and basically doing any sport that is fast or extreme. Ginette’s upbringing was the inspiration for the title track and first single from Ginette’s debut Country CD, Tomboy Girl.

Ginette has begun to make a name for herself in her home province of British Columbia. She was a first round finalist in the David Foster Star Search in Vancouver 2006 and was later invited to accompany Canadian Idol, Melissa O’Neil and Patricia Conroy on a Canadian Forces tour overseas to perform for our troops. Ginette was the only artist in the troupe who could perform in English, Spanish and French much to the delight of the soldiers in Montreal, Belgium, Germany, and Egypt. 2007 saw Ginette performing at local Vancouver clubs, restaurants and music festivals, hightlighted with an appearance during the “Songwriters in the Round” segment on the Main Stage of the Merritt Mountain Music Festival. Ginette shared the Merritt spotlight with Nashville “hit” writers, Chris Tompkins (writer of Carrie Underwood’s smash BEFORE HE CHEATS), Steve Seskin (songs recorded by Kenny Chesney & Tim McGraw), Grammy Award winner John Vezner and “Writers in the Round” producer, Ron Irving (Michael Bublé, Anne Murray). With the release of her debut EP, “Tomboy Girl,” Ginette Genereux is set to launch her career onto the national and international stage.
