An 11-Piece Rhythm Machine That Kicks Out A Delirium Inducing Live Show
Five Alarm Funk combines original funk/afro-beat grooves and costumed stage shows that appeals to jazz fans and club kids alike. High energy that guarantees a frenzied dance party.

Five Alarm Funk is Vancouver’s own afro-funk orchestra. For more than fiveyears the band has brought their relentless grooves to clubs and majorfestivals across Western Canada. Intense horn lines and percolatingafro-beat guitar combined with the interplay of four percussionists createan unstoppable dance party.

The 11-piece phenomenon has performed over 130 shows throughout WesternCanada, sharing stages with such artists as Michael Franti & Spearhead, TheHerbaliser, Sly & Robbie, Fishbone and Xavier Rudd. In the process, the bandhas built an enthusiastic fan base large enough to sell-out the CommodoreBallroom in Vancouver on numerous occasions.

Five Alarm Funk’s genre-spanning groove-straddling third album “Anything is Possible” from the heavy-set funk machine brings together all the best elements from all your favorite bands in this classic tale of love and revenge on the high seas.
